I have to say that EFC is the best gym I’ve ever joined. EFC is more than just a place to work out — it’s a powerhouse of motivation, community, and transformation. Impossible to end membership even after providing every form of proof of an address change beyond 20 miles of the facility. Been trying to cancel it since March but keep getting auto generated responses and can’t get a phone number to contact an actual person. UPDATE*** Found the phone number for peak payments and they reviewed my documents. The man on the phone seemed nervous and stumbled through the entire conversation. Once he told me that USAA is “not an authentic bank” I knew this was a bunch of scamming bs. I reported every email and conversation to my bank and they handled it. I received an email soon after from peak payments saying that my membership was “deleted” and I owed them $239 for it to be reopened. No one could answer why I randomly owed $239. I’m not even sure why they’d think I would want to reopen my account when the whole point of canceling was that I moved far away. I payed every month on autopay and never missed a beat. On top of that I asked the to refund me for my December-January payment since my membership was still good until January 17th but they deleted my account on 12/25/2025. I no longer had access to the transaction history since my account was locked or “deleted” so I couldn’t provide those documents in my dispute. Overall I really did enjoy this gym and that is not part of the issue. The only issue is if you need to cancel your membership, peak payments will make it impossible.

Best gym in Augusta! Friendly staff, clean and best industry equipment available for a gym. Plenty of equipment available to get the most out of your workout. You can even sign up and bring your kids to be taking care of while you workout! How many gyms offer that?! Just saying, it’s definitely worth the money. Don’t believe me though, come check it out for yourself!
