I was a walk-in at Midas for the first time at 7:15p last night with our 11yr old son. We left with a great cut. The shop is clean, family-friendly and the owner greeted us as soon as we walked in. The barber that cut my son's hair was pretty young and took his time. The owner and a few other barbers checked on him and gave him feedback. I loved the supportive environment of the young man coming up in the profession. Our son has Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, Autism, etc. He was pretty tired so he showed no behavioral symptoms of his disabilities, but I got the impression that the barbers in this shop would very patient and playful with him. The other 250+ reviews here speak to this business' professionalism and quality. I'm happy to have a new shop for our boys.

We stopped into this barbershop while we were out of town, and I’m so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming. The shop was clean, organized, and had a great vibe. The barbers took their time, paid attention to every detail, and made sure the cut was exactly what my two wanted. You can tell they really care about their craft. It’s always a little risky trying a new spot when you’re traveling, but this place exceeded our expectations. If we’re ever back in the area, we’ll definitely be coming again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality service and a great cut!

It was straight. It served its purpose. I needed a cut since my barber was out of town, so it was cool. $50 was a little steep, but it is a decent haircut. I’ve had scary experiences before when stepping out on my barber and I’m glad to say I feel pretty safe in the dude’s chair who cut my hair—despite a few things. He was a little stingy with the alcohol/astringent. Like c’mon now. About to have me breaking out. You charging $50. You can afford to spray a little more alcohol on my cut. And the front of my hairline, while straight, isn’t cut down at an angle. My hairline just kinda standing up right now. Guess I’ll durag it until I get back to my main guy. My only other con is the dude kept hitting my face with the clippers and the comb. He seemed like he didn’t want to cut my hair for real, but that may have just been his lackadaisical cutting style. Idk. He cool, but wake up a little bit. My mustache is also a little thicker on one side, but I touched that up at home. No big deal. I’ll be back… ONLY if my barber is unavailable and I cannot wait until he is available. Oh and I saw another review about the woman stylist. Yeahhh, I saw a little kid leave her chair and his fade line …left much to be desired. UPDATE: - $50 really ain’t that bad. I been telling my barber he need to up his prices, so I can’t even be mad at home boy fr. So $50 is fair, but I still expect a better overall experience. - Hand/finger placement was a little off too. - OH, the after the durag …. cut went from, “Okay, he ain’t mess it up,” to “Oh snap, this ain’t half bad. Lemme go update this review before they see it.” UPDATE: - I just can’t do it. $50 for a haircut w/ beard & mustache is egregious. - Why would I spend $50 for a service that is less than the experience I’m accustomed to for a $30 service ? Just doesn’t make any sense. - I’m sure they’ll be just as successful with or without my review. My goal isn’t to defame, but to provide my honest feedback. - I still gave them 4 stars for them being exactly who they say they are and the prices listed being what I was charged. - I left a $5 tip.
