Osaka sushi &steak house

I am always the type of person that looks at reviews before trying a new place and I definitely had high hopes for this place but my food did not look anything close to the photos. My chicken seemed like it wasn’t even cooked it has absolutely no color. The portion is huge so that was a plus but it wasn’t very tasty. I even ordered deep fried sushi but it is soggy and very oily and I’m just used to it having that crispy crust on the outside. When I walked in there was nobody in there I probably should’ve taken that as a sign that the food isn’t great.

My boyfriend and I have driven past this place countless times, always commenting on how good it smells outside when we drive past and how we need to try it. We finally did yesterday and we have been missing out!! the waitress we had was such a delight, super helpful, and the food was delicious! much cheaper than other places we've been to but just as high of quality when it comes to the food! Loved our experience and we WILL be back!

Sushi Chef Michael is amazing, very personable and doesn’t mind taking the extra step to make you feel special. I was having a really bad day and stopped in just to decompress after leaving the hospital where my mother was not in good condition at all and he really brightened my day and showed me there are still wonderful professional people on our side of town. Not only was the sushi absolutely delicious but the presentation and conversation were exquisite. Thank you to him the manager and the rest of the staff for making an overwhelmingly sad day better. God bless you all. I will definitely be a regular going forward and will be bringing my friends and family. If you haven’t tried Osaka in Tobacco Rd you are really missing out. Take the time and stop in.
