Our very old (25 year old) upstairs air conditioner had been sustained by Riverside well beyond its expected life, but it finally gave up the ghost. Riverside gave us an excellent deal on a 17 seer replacement, and had the install scheduled in two days. The polite, professional crew, ably led by Matthew, arrived on schedule, and completed the outdoor/attic work unobtrusively, and left no mess. Of note, when energized, the outdoor unit was malfunctioning. They did some troubleshooting and determined the unit was faulty. They were out first thing the following morning with another brand new replacement. Matthew left his number and a guarantee of personal service. We could not ask for more than that. Trust Riverside to take excellent care of your air conditioning needs!

Updated Review as of 23 Feb 2026 I have used Riverside Heating and Air in the past with a successful engagement, including the installation of a five-ton HVAC system in 2024. In December 2025, I contacted them because my heater would come on and then shut off shortly afterward. During the evaluation, it was determined that the power ventilator (draft inducer/power vent motor) was not operating. This component is separate from the newly installed system in 2024, which still works great. Still, it works in conjunction with it to help remove harmful gases, including carbon monoxide, from the home by creating airflow that vents those gases outside. Because of its role in indoor air quality and safety, proper diagnosis is important. The evaluation was provided at no charge, which I appreciated. I was then given a quote of approximately $1,400 for motor replacement. After my own independent troubleshooting efforts, the issue was resolved by restoring the missing 24V control supply to the power ventilator motor. Once the 24V connection was re-established, the unit operated properly, and the motor did not require replacement. This raised concerns for me regarding the troubleshooting process that led to a full motor replacement recommendation. After posting my initial review, the owner personally reached out. He acknowledged that identifying the missing 24V supply should have been part of the diagnostic process and described it as a missed step. I appreciated his willingness to listen and take ownership of the situation. I also respect the owner’s effort to address the concern directly.

Riverside has been my too go company ever since Hurricane Helene… very professional but personal and compassionate. Mr. Gavin and Mr. Craig came out and relocated the thermostat. I have a special needs daughter. I needed out of sight and mind. They worked hard and got it done. Kudos!!! Ally is the best customer service representative!!! I would recommend them highly!
