The Faded Life Barbershop

Had Tim as my barber. He was friendly and asked how I wanted my hair. When I started telling him, he cut me off and told me to wait a minute. He then walked outside for a couple of minutes. Then walked back in and started cutting my hair. He was speed cutting, letting my hair fall in front of my face going in my nose and mouth. I started choking on my hair it was so bad. He gets done, twirls my chair around, I look up and see him video recording me. He shows me the video quickly and says he's done. He handed my coat to me and I asked him how much, $55. I about fell on the floor when I heard he charged that much. I was waiting for my change, he owed me $5. He kept mumbling under his breath. I figured he was trying to get me to tip him. I never said I would ,but he just said, "Thanks for coming in!" He handed me a card and stared at me. Now, I asked for a 3 on the top, a 2 on the side, and blend the beard. He repeated it back. Then used a 2 on all of it. He did not give me the cut I asked for and knew he didn't do a good job, then forced me to leave a $5 tip. Worst place I've ever gotten my hair cut. I do not recommend this place.

Jessie is the best barber in Augusta! He has been cutting my hair for five years, always top notch. Entire staff is friendly and just all around good people. Highly recommend you give these guys a stop by for a fire fade!!

Tim is absolutely PHENOMENAL. I’ve been having him cut my hair and my kids hair for years. Everyone else in the shop is kind an always laughing and keeping a pleasant atmosphere. Vibe check is on point.
