This is really not a goodwill anymore it’s more than you going to a big box store or the mall prices are the highest l ever seen in Augusta! Someone needs to check it out it’s out of hands l can’t explain how people in need would afford buying clothes or appliances from there! I just took a picture of a non smart TV was on the floor today that will speak itself! Salvation Army is your best friend folks ! This GW NEEDS ATTENTION and Pricing Control management has to verify who’s pricing these shoes for $40/$65/$80 jackets $15/$21/$29 ect.. hopefully they can hear us and do something about the overpricing issue thanks.

I frequently visit Goodwill after church as a way to relax, but on Sunday, December 28, I had one of the worst experiences I have ever encountered at the Goodwill location at 4074 Washington Road. While my girlfriend and I were thrift shopping, I accidentally left my purse in the dressing room. I immediately went to the front register to ask if anyone had turned in a purse. The cashier quickly said no without asking any follow-up questions, requesting a description, or showing any concern. I then asked several other employees throughout the store if a purse had been turned in, and each one told me no. I also asked if there was a way to check the security cameras, and I was told that only a manager could do that. When I spoke with the manager, she stated that she would review the cameras. At the same time, I called my daughter to track my phone and AirTag. The tracking showed that my purse was still at Goodwill, but near the donation drop-off area. I immediately went to that side of the store and asked a young gentleman if a purse had been turned in, explaining that my tracker showed it was outside near donations. He asked if the purse had a tracker, and I replied yes. Due to the confusion and lack of assistance, I contacted the police. When they arrived, the manager informed us that an employee who had gone to lunch had turned in the purse. I explained to the manager that the communication among staff was extremely poor and that any employee receiving a lost item should immediately notify management. To make matters worse, the rude cashier later admitted that she knew the purse was there the entire time but assumed it was a return. This situation could have been resolved much earlier with proper communication and basic customer service. Instead, I was met with a very rude attitude and extremely poor customer service skills. Customer service should always involve going above and beyond to assist someone in need, and unfortunately, that standard was not met during my visit. I’m still wondering why my purse was tracked on the donation side then magically appear under the register!!!!🤔 Goodwill employees do better, you can’t cover up technology!!!!

The kids love to "thrift" but this particular store has lost their minds with the pricing. They get this stuff for free. Picture attached...a used baby bath tub $30??!!! Come on now. Miss Me Jeans priced $20? That's about $10 over priced. Not going back to this one and not donating to Goodwill anymore.
